WARNER BROS. MOVIE WORLD, GOLD COAST – AUSTRALIA
Commissioned to carry out the structural engineering design documentation and supervision of Movie World – a AUD$120 million theme park located on 415 acres at Oxenford. The studio theme park occupies 217 acres of this total site and opened in June 1991. Our services included engineering design and supervision for buildings, specialist rides and associated attractions such as Batman Simulator Ride, Lethal Weapon Roller Coaster Ride and the Maverick Show.

SEAWORLD & SEAWORLD NARA RESORT – AUSTRALIA
|
We have provided engineering services for a number of attractions within the park including The Bermuda Triangle ride, the 3–D Theatre, The White Water Rapids ride, the Administration Building and Dolphin Cove. We were also the structural and civil engineers for the 402 room family-style resort hotel.

The team consisting of over thirteen different specialist consultant groups, was selected over international competition from the USA and Japan to be responsible for the design and commissioning of this prestigious AUD$400 million project on the east coast of Taiwan. |

INDYCAR GRAND PRIX – AUSTRALIA
Originally commissioned in 1990 as the Works, Facilities and Infrastructure Managers for the first IndyCar Event ever held outside the North American continent, we continued to provide unique project planning, engineering and management skills to this international event until 2003.

SYDNEY OLYMPICS – SOCCER OVERLAY – BRISBANE – AUSTRALIA
Commissioned by the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (SOCOG) to manage the design, construction and demobilisation of all temporary overlay modifications to the Olympic Soccer events held at The ’Gabba in Brisbane. The role also included the intensive set-up and reinstatement between each of the Olympic football matches.

EVENT INFRASTRUCTURE STRATEGY – PARLIAMENTRY ZONE – CANBERRA – AUSTRALIA

We were retained by the Commonwealth Government’s planning agency, the National Capital Authority, to undertake a full analysis of the Parliamentary Zone’s event-related infrastructure requirements. The Parliamentary Zone is the “Jewel In The Crown” of Australia’s national capital, Canberra, and has experienced increasing demand for use as a backdrop for events ranging from the National Centenary of Federation celebrations through to the V8 Supercar street circuit and various other national cultural events. |

V8 SUPERCAR EVENT – CANBERRA – AUSTRALIA
We were responsible for the construction of the 4km street circuit costing AUD$13 million for this GMC 400, 3 day event that attracts more than 100,000 spectators. We delivered the infrastructure components necessary for the event that required innovative design solutions, strict budget control, OH&S, risk management of a high order and, above all, communication skills.
